Default Ti2 usb port not working?

Hi,
Can anyone shed any light on why the usb port on my ti2 does not seem to be working? I have been trying to connect to my PC via Virus Control to re arrange and download sound banks but it keeps telling me on my PC that the USB DEVICE HAS NOT BEEN RECOGNISED?

Please HELP!

TA in advance

Mike Scott.

Hello Mike, a common issue is to have a hub in between.
It works often but there is no guarantee to it.
I assume you've tried different USB ports too.
Unplug all other synth...

Finally, maybe this will help, try a USB tool I am using for different USB issues for years: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html
Windows is quite bad in managing USBs - espessially if unused drivers are in the way.
This tool shows old drivers too, and you can uninstall those.

Good luck,
R.

Hi many thanks for your reply. I downloaded this and it does show all the ports that are in use or have been used. New to this so not sure what I do next? Do I delete them all and restart hoping that the PC will recognise the Virus/ Cheers.
