Default Waldorf Microwave XT Rack

I have a TC Electronic Triple C Multiband compressor for sale and someone has offered me the above piece of kit as a straight swap.

Has anyone ever tried it?

What are everyone's opinions on the swap?

Microwave XT is a really nice wavetable synth. You can get very interesting sounds with it. I think it's a good addition to your setup so it might be a worth for the barter.

if your looking for a wavetable synth the waldorf xt is the best as they get....
wavetable is very interesting and much different from the virus (in terms of sounds-great digital pads, real bass guitars etc)
you can convert audio sample data into midi and import it into the synth and use it as a new waveform so accualy you never run out of new sounds

If it was offered to me, I'd do it. It's so easy to get excellent compression via software these days, I'm not sure mid-level outboard compressors will retain much value in the near future. The XT's is sweet...

An XT is probably going to be my next addition when I have enough cash, it sounds like a good partner to my Virus C, you can always find them on Ebay.
