Default JP-8080 delay on first midi note

I sort of went on a spending spree:

I added the following synths to my virus b:

Supernova II
JP-8080
Nord Lead 2x

I'm having problems with the JP-8080 triggering on the first note when I play the midi sequencer.

The midi note is recorded at 1:00:0000, but the sound comes slightly after I hit play.

Is there a way to sync it up...I've never had any problems with any of my other gear, or I take that back....my XV-3080 with performances...same thing.

Is there a way I can clear the clock of the jp-8080 or something....so it starts right on q?

Thanks,

Dk

i think you should look for the problem with your midi interface or cabling before you start with the synth itself or sequencer.

First off....wish I could go on a spending spree too!

And for once I agree with Tommer.

Seems like a strange one though.

Congrats for your purchases!

Which sequencer are you using? And which soundcard?
Might be a latency issue...Also some combinations of hardware seem to be a problem with SX3. A fix will be avaiable before the end of the month tho.
If the delay always has the same value, just set your track using a negative delay so it starts right in time.

Hope that helps!

Maybe you can try using pre-count so you don't have to start @ bar 5.
Might help

I have the same problem using Logic + JP8000.

A negative delay... I'll try it.
