Default Need sysex help

I think...

I've got a set of Yamaha DD55 midi drums and I've suddenly lost the nearly all the volume on the kick drum sounds. I can't set it manually on the unit at all.

I've tried re-assigning the patches to the pads (normally they're triggered by one of the two foot pedals) and triggering the sounds with sticks, but no difference. Same story when re-assigning the sounds to the hi-hat pedal

All the other 200+ sounds work exactly as usual.

Should I try a sysex dump into Sonar? Can I adjust the volumes in the sequencer? I'm a sysex virgin, so be gentle with me. Any suggestions at all most welcome.

Cheers
Matt
