Default Ableton Virgin

Hi, I'm completely new to all things Ableton but want to use it to host VC.

I have a copy (6.0.1) and it's all installed and good to go but I don't know where to locate the VC plug in, i.e. I can't seem to find the plug-in to put it in ableton.

Sorry for being shite at technology but some help would be an absolute treat.

I'm sure you can understand my excitment and impatience.

Thanks in advance.

Make sure when you install the virus software, that it is installed into a common directory with all your other VST's and such. Under preferences within ableton make sure you point it toward wherever this directory is located.

seriously starting to think you liked this dvd a little too much

I think you have to go to preferences and allow it to search other folders. Sure I had to do something like that, but I had a pain with Ableton so watch the tutorial and buy the dvd

Hey Thanks for the response. I think the problem is that I don't really know what I'm looking to point ableton towards.

I just installed all the Virus stuff in Program Files as I would usually do but when I get ableton to scan the folder it comes up with nothing.

Should I be able to see an Icon for the plugin? That is, when I go to
program files>>Virus Ti should I see something called VirusControl or Vst? I only seem to have Documentation or Support.

Sorry for being rubbish at knowing stuff :s
