Default Delay/Reverb settings being b*****

is it normal that if you apply a delay or reverb in multi mode it seems to affect every channel... is there any way to make it only affect one channel.. things like reverb sound cool on pads .. but kinda kill basslines
cheers

You can ajust the send amount of delay and verb for each part in multi-mode. Not infront of the Virus to give you the exact menu options though. Should be easy enough to find.

yes its normal. this type of 'global' delay/reverb is kindof disliked amongst virus users and its one (of quite a few) reasons why multi mode is not as widely used as it should be. very annoying how you cannot enable delay/reverb per part. incidentally, you can do this on the virus TI, just one of the few things about multi mode which they improved together with the poly making multi mode instantly more usable. that said, if you havent got 1.5 grand to spare then thats not an option so you'll have to do as we unpriviledged do and just not try to make multi mode bass patches with part specific delay/reverb. *wink*

You can actually enable the reverb/delay per part, but the fucked thing is that you can't enable a different delay/reverb per part. Another plus for the TI.

You can make the reverb/delay effect only one part in a multi, but that means turning it off for all the others - similar to a send knob on a desk.
