Awesome update I was reeeallly hoping we'd see 64 bit support though, I am just now rebuilding my OS after buying the Virus since I was running Windows XP x64 and now need to go back to Windows XP x32
Love the new VC look! Can anyone please post screenshots of each part of the plugin? The videos take so long to load here.

has anyone noticed that the freq shifter mix is not an option in the matrix?
that's very disappointing!
But besides that, I seriously love Access. They are so good to their customers... I'm very impressed.
Having dealt with lots of BS from clavia over the years, Access' generosity is so appreciated... so anyone at Access that may be reading this: thank you.
Anywho... back to intense knob twiddling

I've been playing with the OS update all morning and holy fuck this is amazing.
I was just using my XT last week and thinking "The virus could use a proper amplitude modulation section" and here it fucking is!
has anyone found use for the new analog boost stuff?
I've never really used it (have had virii for four years now), which specific synths is it supposed to emulate? any ideas?

not yet, I am going to put it through its paces this weekend. I have been waiting since Namm 2008 for input side chaining so I can't wait to test out this new feature.

1. what do they mean by "Last but not least, a modification to the main "VCA" algorithm enables OS3 users to design gating FX known from electro and minimal influenced music.
I haven't figured that one out yet.
2. I just read in the addendum that some hosts will have the delay, and there is nothing they can do about it, which makes me sad

so does
"Use the Characters section to apply subtle changes to sound of the filters, the oscillators, and the character
of the nonlinearities and distortions throughout the instrument."
mean that this isnt an "effect" like you put in the signal chain... but more of a under the hood tweaking of the fundamental synth engine?

The best news is that the current TI is not in any way obsolete. Even if it was, how much more bloody power do you need to make music ?
