Default Two simultaneous Virus TIs

Is it possible to use at the same time 2 Virus TIs in the same host using Virus Control? I just bought my second TI and want to use them both
Thanks!!

Dont you just open up a second instance of Virus Control in the DAW?

Actually Virus control can't open 2 times. But I was thinking something like installing the 2nd virus control...problem is it will erase the other...

I use both a TI KB and a Polar. Both original TI's.

They run fine simultaneously in both Logic 8 and 9.

You don't need to install the VC software twice, but rather make sure both machines are running the same OS, as any update will update all connected Viruses.

Once both machines are connected and recognised, Logic will happily open two instances of the Virus Control software.

Only keep in mind which track is which machine, as you you can only edit sounds on both machines seperately.

In other words, I'm unable to edit the sound banks on my Polar by using the KB's controllers, and vice versa. I'm sure there's a way around this though, but since I have no need to remotely work either machine, I haven't spent any time trying to figure it out.
