Default -HELP- Error number 1 DSP-RAM failed on Kc

hi everyone,

I'm the not so happy owner of a Kc since yesterday.
I've just bought a virus Kc and I'm very disapointed.
Most of the time the virus works fine but I encounter a few stability issues (keyboard not responding or reboot)

I tried to update to OS V6.5 (currently OS V6.0) with no success.
The update process seems fine as midi sysex are transmitted and received, but when I press "store"in order to flash the OS I get :

Error number 1 DSP-RAM failed

I've searched different forums (including this one) and found at least 5 people having this issue on a Kc. No answers to this problem so far.

I've had tons of synths but this is my first Virus, so I'm a kinda noob.

Is my Kc deffective ?
Do I have to send it back to germany ? (I live in France)
I know there are a few Virus experts among you. Can anyone tell me what's going on with those Kc ?

thx for your answers...
regards

Frederic

well... the midi file was sent @ 60bpm using reaper
I haven't checked the CR2032 battery yet , maybe I should change it.
Do you think poor battery voltage should result in a wierd acting virus without a proper warning ?

the update issue in only one aspect of the problem.
I have reboots when playing from time to time, or the keyboard might simply stop responding (mode local on ).
When the virus' keys stop responding, I can still trigger sound with an external midi source via midi in.

all in all it begins to look like a midi failure.
-cannot update OS via midi (despite receiving sysex)
-keyboard stop responding
-rebbot when playing keyboard

I have emailed access' service center but they haven't replied yet
synthesizerservice.de

has anyone experienced these problems ?
how good is synthesizerservice ?
