Default Midi Track in Ableton.

Is ther anyway to hook the virus up in Ableton so that I dont have to record/resample the midi track into an audio track? With my Softsynths I can hook audio effects directly up to the track. The way I have my Virus TI I have to bump it to audio then apply audio effects....If this is possible please let me know....Thank you!

No, it's not possible.

It's the same with any external hardware instruments.

You can still monitor VST effects on incoming TI audio though if you use short ASIO latencies, the TI signal doesn't need to be dry.

But you do still need to sample/record it in realtime to lay it down for real.
