New Virus TI2 Keyboard & Logic 9 Problems

Hi guys,

Having recently purchased a new virus ti, and installing it on my macbook pro 15" 4GB 2.8Ghz laptop, using a digi 003 and Logic 9, there is an issue which i cant understand.

Basically i'm almost certain its configured properly, but whilst creating a track today, occupying 5 of the 16 midi parts and one single other midi channel using KORE, i started getting a 'popping' sound in the virus channel at the start of the midi part.

Its difficult to explain but as the first notes were played back after being recorded what i can only describe as a randomly placed popping sound appeared at the start of the song. It doesnt continue throughout all of the time but still ruins the signal path.

I am only using the USB at the moment btw, i wondered if anyone could give me some advice. Any recommended settings specifically for this setup would be very useful also...
