Default Waldorf Microwave

Look what I found today:

It is a Waldorf Microwave rev. B (8 voice wavetable synth with 8x CEM analog filters) and it sounds HUGE! It's amazing, what good analog filters can do to a digital sound. Amazingly fat sounding synth!

I will post some demo clips later...

Ok, here's the promised demo:
http://www.quandace.com/F5D_Microwave.mp3

Drums: Alesis Andromeda + 1 perc. loop
Synth parts: Waldorf Microwave
+fx

I saw 2 microwaves for sale at muusikoiden.net (finnish music forum) at the same time. The first one was already sold when I decided that I could buy one. Lucky me, the other one was still available.

It is very difficult to edit thru the menus but the sounds are great. I will have to search some soundsets and use sounddiver or something to edit the synth. If the malström will be close to this, I will buy it.

Btw, the funniest part of the story is that the person who I bought the microwave from was the CEO of a big finnish record label and I didn't even know that while I was visiting him. Anyway, he was a really nice guy and had some rare vintage synths too.
