Sorting a bank in categories without SoundDiver

Allright, I recieved my virus C two days ago and I have been tweaking and checking out the sounds. So far, I am very satisfied.

I own a audiophile 2496 card and I knew there would be problems with the sounddiver. Like so many else here I can request like 3 patches before it dies and whines on the midiconnections.

But here is my thing, Is there a way to open up a midi file, sort it and exporting it with the categorizationsortings saved?

Or is there a other way around this? Everything that doesn?t actually involve sending the patches with sound diver will work...I think.
