Default single patches won't be stored

For some reason the single patches won't be stored on my virus a. I can store complete banks but when I try to store only one patch it failes. I see the name of patch but after selecting it, it disappears.

I have tried all the setting under midi dump rx: enable, force to bank a/b and force to edit buffer. Didn't try disable (memory protect is off)

Does anyone have a clue what's going on?

Thanks,
Jaap 8O

well the only thing i could tell u is:

1.make sure its on edit buffer..
2.make sure the midi channel on your virus is on the same midi channel as cubase...
3.make sure your cables r connected right...
4.make sure the file is good
5.make sure your ouptup source on your cubase channel is the same as the virus..
6.make sure that the virus is recieving the data...
7. if it still doesnt work try a different program, perhaps sounddiver if that doesnt work then its your connection...most likely

peace

Default found the answer

when using force to edit buffer, you have to press the store button before you can even preview the patch. I assumed that it would work the same way as in storing complete banks, well I was wrong.

Thanks...
