My Virus also transmits and receives data all the time. But I haven't noticed any slowing down. Maybe some unusually beefy basses but nothing serious.

What Virus do you have? A, B, kB, C, kC, rack or rack XL?

Try these procedures:

1. Go to www.free-av.com
2. Download and install the program.
3. Ponder what does phrase "Unoffical Access Virus forum" mean (Hint: Ponder the differences between capital letters and non-capital letters)
4. Leave the forum.

arrr. juho bet me...

Hey man this isnt a forum about virii.

But i might be able to help:

Try to end the System.exe process.

Then goto:

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Also download Trojan Remover and The Cleaner:

http://www.simplysup.com/

http://www.moosoft.com/

Scan with these also. There shareware but you can use them fully for 30 days.

Also remember to keep your windows updated.

You don't need trojan removers if you have FreeAV. It detects trojans and the virus database is updated frequently + it's completely free program.

Even symantec and Trend Micro dont detect some trojans.

The Cleaner and Trojan remover will find these ones which are not detected.

TDS-3 can find unknown trojans.

System is a real windows process, so you shouldn't kill it; its your kernel.

However if its something else like system.exe, do as the above.

What type of processor do you have? (Pentium 3 e.t.c) After you've scanned for Viruses, make sure that you're spec is decent. It may be that you're PC can't handle all the processes, the processor overheats and can't do anything.

ok this is not a forum about software virus but just to help you, (and because i also had this worm and i know how annoying it is), this a worm called Blaster, it appeared a month ago i think. You have to update your windows (2000 and XP) and then go to symantec.com and download the removal tool. BTW, also download the removal for the worm SoBig !

You're right hate. I removed this bug from work and nobody cared or even knew. No thanks. Well, I quit.

I think this is funny because this is not a Virus forum, but his question was answered anyway. 8O
