Default latency and buffer settings when using VIRUS TI

i am still a novice with regards to understanding computer music.

i have a DELTA 1010 and LOGIC AUDIO 5.5.1 on PC.

now i keep on reading people who have bought the TI adn having to reset bugffer sizes and all that.

i hve no idea what people are on about.

on my LOGIC AUDIO i always record in 16 bit and 44 frequency setting
and i have set my buffer at 256 or about 5-6 milliseconds.

When i get my TI, would i NEED to change that.
have no idea why, the VIRUS TI comes with its own ASIO driver apparently,
so what on earth are people changing as far as buffer sizes and all that.

the TI couldnt make me change my DELTA 1010 seetings for my other hardware. why would it.

or are people talking about the buffer settings for the TI itself?

yours
confused electronic muso newbie

buffer settings for the TI Audio Driver itself...

Since I can't use the EMI 2|6 as the Audio Driver and TI USB at the same time, the TI has to become the Audio Driver. I think my case is rare, as the TI works with most other I/O's it seems.
