Default Virus Ti SonicState Reviews....

What a load of crap people are writing over at sonicstate......

First of all it started with the editors review scores....75% for each category??? Hello!!!! The KC got 100% for each category and I seriously doubt the Ti actually sounds worse. So wtf????

Im under the distinct impression there are some weirdo's out there posting their rants. Correct me if im wrong but i doubt our very own Tomer Trance would have written a review like that. I hope some wanker doesnt decide to use my name and write a shitty review.....because id just like to set the record straight - Yes, im not the worlds biggest digital synth fan....and sometimes I dislike the concept of Virtual analog because i find myself comparing it to the real deal all too often....but one thing id never do is give a Virus a rating of less than 4/5. I do appreciate the Virus in terms of good build quality and it can make some nice sounds....that in my mind makes it a 4/5. People who give any synth (not just a virus) scores of 2 or 1/5 are blatently pissed off about something.

So my message to you people with TI's. If youve got one and your happy with it...spread the love http://www.sonicstate.com/synth_revi...s_virus-ti.cfm

I had the same query yesterday, I was reading the same reviews and I found
so many TI haters I couldn't believe in my eyes. After all why they bought it If they didn't like it? If someone spends 2500e on a synth must make a wise decision before. This is not a midi controller. It's a synth that has a sound to die for IMHO but it's only disavantage is that Access released and advertised it too early. When we were shouting on this forum 6 months ago for the release date we couldn't expect that in the first version of software the synth would crash and have unusable integration, these are not bugs but clues of an unfinished product. But in the world of internet and eproms you can flash for 1000 times, delivering a synth which does not work properly seems no such a big deal. You can fix it later receiving feedback from many users using many platforms. Although my TI now is workable with some major annoyning bugs yet, now I can work with it and I feel confidence in access, the bugs sooner or later will be ironed. But I still think that the TI was released prematurely.

That is some fucked up troll causing hassles for sure. 8O

I wonder if SonicState would like to give the IP addresses out?! Tommer has a right to ask if anyone does (Tommer Trance isn't exactly a common name after all). It would be nice to find out who and where this person really is!

It just spoils the whole point of user reviews!

lol tomer trance's review

It must be one of us, whoever would know tomer? But whom?
is it me, because I didn't receive it for a long time?
Is it you DS, because you are jealous of those who have it?
Is it one of those who like the TI very much and don't want it to be sold well so that they are one of the few having one?

I don't think it would be someone here that posts. More like someone who has read about the TI here. Everyone that posts here knows where Tommer lives.

I hope SonicState will give out the IP addresses (someone should ask them - maybe Access?), then once we know that we can find out where they posted from at least. Maybe it'll even match up to someone here!

My suspects are....

Teengirl lust.
DS.
Dr. Orange.
Juho.

I only chose Juho just because he's such an angry fucker with little or no social skills.

Hold on, the other possibility is that it could actually be Tommer! 8O
Tommer, now is the time to come clean...

I just had to take a look at the reviews at sonicstate and IMO there was nothing strange about tomer trance's opinion. He likes the sound (but maybe digital which the virus sure is) and the looking which is great too. Then tomer gave 1/5 for stability and support. I would give access support a better, maybe 3/5 (because they're nice and answer quickly but not always give a real answer or solution). I haven't used TI yet but I can read many many posts about TI hardware crashing etc so based on the threads in many forums I guess the 1/5 for stability is not so wrong. I couldn't work with a synth which crashes even at once. I'm still waiting for 100% stable os for TI and I may purchase one when people stop posting about TI crashing etc. Maybe some of the units are worse than others which means there are also many faulty units which is not so great. Anyway, I hope they'll get things fixed with os updates soon.
