The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....

I had the TI since Xmas, and has some very, very inspirational sounds.

However is still very far from fixed and is flawed, so I couldn't recommend you buy one.

I use it with 1/4 jacks & MIDI and even then on some big pads, it will have clicks...

It's timiing on Cubase SX3.1.1 will also drop out after a section has been cycled (repeated) several times)

for a 1500 product isn't good enough,

I'll report back after 1.10 hopefully will be nearly sorted then.

Definately go with the Korg if its even a consideration. You'll hate the TI due to all of it's non-delivered limitations. For that matter get an older virus model and a korg!!

The majority of "non-delivered limitations" on the TI involve using it as if it was a virtual instrument (yes, the "TI" part). But if you want a phenomenal sounding synth that is 16-part multitimbral, has dedicated effects for all 16 multitimbral parts, and 80-voice polyphony, then the TI is a serious competitor. After playing one in a store, I just HAD to own it. That being said, I have not played, heard, nor seen a Korg Radias, but after I have, perhaps I will want to buy one of those too.

I agree there's certainly no beating the sound, but you can sure can add to it. My Virus and Nord play along well together!!

imo the radias is a complete different concept than the Ti.

on the radias you have a drum kid, a great vocoder, a real step sequencer etc. - to me its more a "performance synth" than the Ti.

i dont work with software anymore, so radias has some very usefull features - and it sounds MF great.

I go for the radial for sure and i think together with my virus C its a lot of fun!
