Sound "Spasm"

happens quite often, will be playing a sound and all of a sudden a random sound will jump in and stutter the sound.. anyone familiar with this issue? at firsdt i thought it was some of the patches but it happens on alot of them. i hold down the key and after a few seconds the sound twitches a bit then keeps going
