Default 303 Clones, which one do you dig???

OK, I need advice on one more item for my studio project. I feel like in order to put together the kind of music I do, a 303 clone is a must have. Being totally honest with myself I have come to terms that, even though I think I am able to come close to replicating the sound, it still is not spot on enough. SOOOO, that being said I would ask that those who read this thread weigh in on which 303 clone has the best bang for your buck.

Thanks again Everybody,

I am using a x0xb0x for some time now...one of the best (if not the best) 303 clones available.
You can make your own kit...or buy one....and is even editable with customised firmware.

Check : http://www.ladyada.net/make/x0xb0x/
or http://www.acidvoice.com/index.htm

Here is how mine x0xb0x looks :

I use TN-3034 which you will find on the KVRAudio website I believe along with the Drum machine emulator TN-909.

There is a fantastic patch available for Reaktor 5 if you have it which is another great emu of the classic.

A lot of them are hard to define but you canna beat true analogue squelches..

I got the Future Retro Revolution. I am very pleased with it.
Not sure if it is that easy to get a x0xb0x. Last I heared, they were out of parts.

I like the design. The sound engine is analog. The effects are DSP.
It got CV in and out. Gate Out. It can work as a converter for older hardware, so you can use midi to trig them.
You can use the sequencer to trigger other synthesizer.

I did order this synthesizer from USA. I live in Norway. It took 4 days to get it.

Yeah I have really been looking hard at getting the Revolution R2, just read so much good press and user feedback about it. Lots of features spot on sound, and very intuitive to use. SOOOOOOOO thinking I might even order it tonight

Or have a look at:

http://www.acidlab.de/

The Bassline2 is really good, has a sequencer like the 303 and is a real analog. Fantastic price IMO.

I have the first Revolution and it's nice. Are there any differences between the first and the second revision, soundwise?

No I think the only difference is the case color and the internal battery... I've been cracking out on it all day ... Already running it through a compressor, def gives it a nice edge ... maybe an envelope follower next, ANYWAY it worked right out of the box ... I mean I <3 my TI2 but its nice to have immediate gratification >{8^P}
