That is a bold statement my friend. Wasn't complaining about the capabilities. I was saying I was not too impressed with what was done on the demo. I myself liked the video better also b/c you could hear the raw waveforms, and could imagine what you might create with them. not some presets that Ben created and marc arranged.

JJust my opinion though

I'm impressed. Each of the sounds was only one preset right? They're so rich! Nevermind the 'trendy' just open your ears to the possibilities! Not many pices of hardware can have so much movement per patch. I won't cancel my pre-order afterall! I have to pay rent and bills, so I have to sell a synth . . AHHHHH!!!

Hi man.....the comment I made was not directed at anyone specific. I was just making a general sweeping statement.....

If you re-listen to the demo...and pay particular attention to the little nuances in the wavetable pads...theres alot of work gone into those.

The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....

Whilst I'm happy that it comes across like that, most of those sounds were much easier to make than they might sound. I think this is something which is hard to appreciate until you try it yourself. By their very design, the wavetable oscillators excel at complex movement.

Another thing about them is that if you take one patch that is already using a modulated table, and try simply scrolling through the tables, you instantlly create a load of new sounds. Then if you change the Index start point, or maybe something as simple as the polarity of the modulation (i.e. change LFO Assign>Wavetable Index1 Amount from positive to negative), you get a load of different sounds again. Or you could simply change the LFO Rate and Shape etc, etc..

In that demo, anything that doesn't sound like the Hypersaw is probably the wavetable oscillators. Listen for brittle, crystalline timbres - glassy sweeps and tinkly stardust in the pads..
