I had an almost identical sound on my JP-8, but unfortunately Ive lost that particular audio file forever. Also I sold my JP-8 in order to get the KC.

I have also made some very similar JP-8 pads. Ive owned and loved the JP-8 and I would be the first one in this forum to say the Virus cant do JP-8....but my initial feeling is that it can emulate the JP-8 very well. Particularly the classic lead sounds and pads. The JP-8 can make very light, fluffy, beautiful pads and Ive already begun making 85% identical pads on the Virus. I should imagine that once Ive learned how to use the EQ and effects section I will get it 95% acurate. Let me just say that im desparate to recreate the JP-8 tone on my Virus...I think its possible

Do you guys mostly use the analogue waveforms or digital waves in the oscilator sections?
