Default Sounddiver for virus C

Hello,

is there anyone to help me to find sounddiver please? I ve looked on the whole web and it s not possible to find it, moreover, access support told me it won't be availble on their website because it was bought by apple, so it doesn't exist anymore for pc?

I'm in the same boat. I lost my disk and have re-installed my PC. Apple have put up downloads for Logic Audio, but non for Sound Diver. If memory serves, the Virus version was special anyway, seems a bit odd that Apple didn't let Access keep their version.

If anyone can email me a copy (or use sendfiles or something) I'd really appreciated it. Drop me a Private Message and I'll give you my email address.

Thanks!

this was never about a license issues. when apple acquired emagic 5(?) years ago, they discontinued sounddiver among other products. at this point, the OSX version of sounddiver was a beta and worked okay'ish. this version, which is the last one we had access to, now barely works with newer OSX versions 10.4 and upwards. that's the reason why we took it off the access website. it's a similar situation with the PC version which works better with e.g. XP but starts to show it's age with Vista and windows 7.

access support can send you both _stand alone_ version, in case you want to toy around but we will not be able to help you make them work.

Until recently the Virus Sounddiver was available on the Access website. It seems to have been removed following the redesign.

This is a pity because it actually works unexpectedly well, at least with my laptop and Virus Rack.

Contact customer support at Access. They sent me a copy of Sounddiver Virus just a few days ago. Didn't take but a few hours for them to respond.

Thanks for the response Marc. It would be worth putting something up on your site to this effect rather than leaving customers in the dark

Cheers
