Default Need a little help with the atomizer

So I checked the virus manual and checked online but so far I cannot find anything about how to use the atomizer (kinda hard to believe, maybe I should get my eyes checked).

I am assuming that it requires running an audio source through the input, but surely since the virus is serving as the sound card itself there is a way to activate it via the USB connection without using any sort of input?...i.e. using it on ANY sound that comes out of my computer? Itunes, web pages, etc?

Sorry guys, I know this is totally elementary, but I am seriously lost here.

Thanks!

ok so...internally (audio in your computer) the atomizer works with only a few sequencers...
i have been able to use it with Ableton..

you need the virus plugin on one instrument channel...on the virus plugin..configure the inputs and outputs as 1in 3 out ...also..from the virus browser page, open an atomizer patch..
NOw you need to have another audio channel in Ableton that has the audio on it..like a drum loop for example.....output this audio through the input on the instrment(virus) channel...
play around with the keys on your midi controller....
something should happen now...

good luck...

i'll try to make a short video about this and upload it to youtube right now...

ok..here u go..

note- may take a while before the subtitles/captions are uploaded with the video...you may need to click on CC ... captions on the youtube video to see the subtitles..
