Default Unsolved - Pitch bend and Mod wheel not working

Any one any ideas, Just bought a Polar secondhand, is all working fine apart from both the Mod and Pitch bend wheels. They are not transmitting MIDI or responding in anyway. Pitch bend is received over MIDI though.

Have had a quick look inside, in case it was something simple like the cable had become detached but no it all looks fine.

any help appreciated, as driving me mad

thanks

Those cables inside all do look very similar. Any chance the cable for the pitch/mod board output has been (inadvertently, perhaps by the previous owner) inserted into the headphone/pedal socket input on the connector board, and vice versa?

Someone has had a similar problem with that in the past.

Here's a pic of my Indigo (the Polar may be similar) showing just how similar those cables are:

Try switching just the inputs of the headphone/pedal and pitch/mod wheel cables. Guessing you have the mainboard cable in the correct place or you'd have different symptoms.
