At first I purchased the TI Polar because I wanted to take it with me when doing live shows...But then I decided not to! For a few reasons...

1. Pops & Clicks...I don't really care when I'm at home, but in 30k watts of sound, this might be not too good.

2. Once or twice I got a VERY loud and piercing noise(I believe this is what happens when one of the chips crashes)...I was wearing headphones and it was TERRIBLE. I would definately get sued if this would happen in a club.

3. The Polar looks sooo clean and nice...I don't feel like taking the risk that something bad happens

4. The VC is not 100% reliable yet...I wouldnt use it for live act but for the home studio it's fine(for now).

Virus' have always been used in studio environments for the above reasons. Very rarely will you see it being used live. Other VA's dont have massive pops and clicks that induce heart attacks. At first I thought it was due to little glitches in the effects section when changing patches.....maybe not

The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....
