Any good volume pedal should work, same with expression pedals- just check the CV requirements for both.

Default Two for 3D!

I strongly recommend getting two Yamaha FC7 pedals, one rewired (swap tip and ring - easy to take apart and re-solder at the pot) and plugged into the hold socket, and the other unmodified and plugged into the cntl. These pedals are heavy duty and the pots used inside match what the Virus is expecting. In the Virus settings menu I recommend setting cntl to breath (controller 2) and hold to controller 3, then tweaking any programs to match.

With one hand on the keyboard, the other on the mod wheel, both feet on the pedals, any program that uses all three controllers, you've got three simultaneous sonic dimensions to explore.

I demoed this setup for a friend who had figured sampling sounds from any instrument was almost as good as having one. Changed his mind real quick.
