hey there,

any tips how to make some nice heavy gabber style kicks...

Take one TR808 kick drum, distort to fuk, then compress. Job's a good'un.

PS > And another thing! Will the Ti|3 have user customisable/importable wavetables? A ribbon-controller or XY-Pad might be nice, too, please! Thanks!

any tips how to make those 808 style kicks with a virus c?
just wanna make them myself rather than always use samples

can you show us any examples of the kicks?

from my experience ive found gabber kicks are never as simple as distorting an 808 or 909. maybe 10 years ago but the modern kicks are pretty complex

Do the modern ones actually sound better though?

well i guess it depends if you like the genre to start with

i would say they do sound better. the old ones sounded kind of cheap and nasty.

the newer tracks are very well made in comparison
