well i do understand what your saying...but i think u r missing the point...i dont agree with what companies do either...and about the unique external gear or whatever u r talking about...it doesnt modify the sound completely either, it just enhances it...the reason being to make it more appealing then it is...well question i had was where do u draw the line...because anything else u would add would be just as much of a modification as reverb or delay...i just dont seem to understand how ppl will be so 2 sided on this...if some1 added compression, enhancer, eq, or any reverb/delay, other then this specific instance it would be wrong, and yet its ok with this one...just because it is a basic reverb used in cubase...is it because most of u have cubase...? im seriouse curious on this...so if some1 used compression and an enhancer on the nord sounds it would be going to far which would change the sound less then the reverb?
im mean to be honest he can do whatever he likes to do...i just was puttin my personal opinion which then turned into a discussion that if some1 put this it would be okay and if some1 put that it would be wrong...now im wondering why modifying the sound is good only in this specific instance yet its not in others...eitherway u r modifyin what the original outcome would be...what makes this such a special circumstance...vs demos that use compression or enhancer or eq?

peace

Perhaps I should give my Mp3 Demos another headline:

"This Mp3 shows what you CAN do with the soundsets, If you know what a Reverb effect is, and if you know what Tempo Synced Delay is"

Would this satisfy you blank

I`d draw the line at reverb and delay, just as manuel has done. When you add compression/enhancement/eq your changing the structure of the patches sound. With delay/reverb on the most basic settings your adding copies of the original sound multiple times.

I can see where you are coming from aswell, I think its all down to personal tastes, probally why it makes a good discussion.

With the unique external gear comment, I was meaning if he passed the original sound through and the output was nothing like the original then that`d be misleading. An example could be using a vocoder.

Any hoo manuels programming skills dont need the use of powerfull effects to make them sound good. The ones I have are amazing.

This is exactly what I have done... If you take a closer look, you will see, I have always written, what additional FX had been used in the demos

Anyway... the Q demo will follow soon.... I have not much time at the moment.... The V-Station set comes soon, too
