Default DAW volume control when Ti is soundcard

Hello everyone... Have been researching the Ti Snow and ordered one for cheap online last night. Few bits of information I could not find in my research, hopefully someone can shead some light.

1) When the TI is in soundcard mode, is there a secondary dedicated knob to control overall volume in the DAW? I use Cubase 5.

2) When using the TI through USB, I can still use my other soundcard if I'd like, but still use the Virus Control with no sync/midi/control problems?

3) When using the audio input section, can you plug a guitar/vocal straight in, or do you need some sort of gain stage to amplify the signal?

Thank you.

1. It has a main volume switch, it controls the overall volume being sent to the speakers.
2. Yes
3. Yes

Thank you for the reply Shortbus. If you don't mind I'd like to elaborate on the volume control question. I notice there is the 'Volume' knob in the bottom left control. I'm assuming this is what controls the 'master' volume, but then where is the 'per-track' volume located? Are the ASIO drivers pretty stable, or would one think to use an outboard soundcard? I currently use a Digi Mbox.
