Default Questions on TI, vst control and more.

Hi all!

While waiting for my kTi to arrive i?d like to get some questions answered.

I?m planning to use the totalintegration to it?s max, kind of anyway..
Today i have a pretty nice computer running SX 1 (i WILL upgrade when i get the ti) together with a couple of vsti?s. My plan is to use the kTi to control the plugin?s much in the same way that you can with a Novation Remote. Have i gotten it right? Are there "templates" to control vst?s?

The other thing i will do is to use it as a soundcard. And that leads me to another question. Will i, regardless of quality, be able to connect a microphone (like a SM5 and record vocal takes via the Virus straight into SX?

Thanks in advance and pls don?t let my newbie questions put you off

cheers/Mr Dekenno

Not yet, they will be included in a future update.

Sure - no problem. The Virus has a gain boost function and sensitivity setting on the analog inputs for precisely this reason.

By reading this forum it might not be the best of ideas as for now, but that?s the whole fhing with the Ti, right? Just hope that Access will get their act together and have an one-point-zerofive-fixem?all solution out till i get mine

Thank you Ben for the info.

nice how your buddy(not) ben doesnt mention anything..
its expected though...cause he works for -----s

you know "accentuate the positive" and all that.

i really dont trust ben.
someone else said it before...but can u imagin when he was demoing this thing..hoping and praying it wouldnt glitch up ...or even turn on for that matter
and he obviously had to stick to a few things that did work.
that scene in the movie "tucker" comes to mind when they
are showing the car for the first time.

anyway im sure eventually access will work it out.
in fact they probably needed us endusers to find all the
problems.

but hey they gave us the teisto souindset for free for beta testing it
yea right!!
if they were a thoughtful company they would pay those that made the tiesto soundset for a bulk amount..and give it to us(officially) ..the first purchasers
or betatesters.

With guys like nutekk this place is turning into a shithole.

Damn, what's wrong with this guy!
lol

Ben rocks, bottom line.
He has NO obligation to help any of us, ESPECIALLY ON THE WEEKENDS, so show some respect.

thats just the thing...
in the dealings i have had with him i really have no respect for him.
he wasnt helpful. And only cares to muffle the situation
for access.

with access fanboys around this place is turning into a shithole.
Damn, whats wrong with these types?

"thankyou access for giving me the ti it sounds soooo sweet.
so sweet i dont care if it boots up.
so sweet who cares about TI..just use the analog outs.
so sweet it can be a control surface later.
so sweet who cares if anything syncs...blaahh ...blahh blahh."

its a buggy product and needs hard work to make it right.
it should not have been released in this condition.

If your exchanges with Ben are anything like your exchanges with this forum, no wonder he wasn't helpful. As for respect, you're not earning much from me. It sounds like you don't want a TI at all.

Yes, it's a buggy product. Yes, hard work is being done to make it right. What do you want Access to do? Don't say "They should've done this, shouldn't've done that" etc because that's not answering my question.

On a serious note Nutekk

This attitude is a bit bad and your not really helping the situation.

and another thing.....

Ben gives his time here....and he doesnt have to....but we're all very greatful that he does. He has clarified technical things on many occasions. Its insulting to say that u have no respect for him......he has done absolutely nothing to warrant that.........it is you who needs to think a little more carefully otherwise your going to find your time here a bit difficult
