I'm mainly concerned about the mod matrix, it's just not as extensive as I would like it to be. There are a lot parameters I would like to see there.

Apart from that, effects should all be syncable to tempo.

Last but not least, stability. My Virus Snow is constantly out of sync, beeping or not giving sound since OS 3.0. Changing an oscillator or patch just freezes the damn thing.

Can't see that one happening or it would have already happened methinks. I would reckon that audio rate modulation would be very dsp intensive. It probably is possible, but would reduce poly too low.

Still I'd love it

True. Maybe they could disable polyphony for these features and harness all the DSP to use during a forced mono. But I guess it's no big deal - it's not the reason I got the TI anyway.

1. Opportunity to change presets by h/w button within VC search/category results in browser. That's what we have Sequencer mode for.

2. Add controls buttons on VC to step through browser presets, or just damn bigger font in browser!

+100 on that!
It's such a simple feature, and requires no additional CPU power - I wonder why it hasn't been implemented already

Actually, IMO the best would be Shift+desired MIDI key, otherwise it would be too easy to accidentally change.

There are two ergonomic improvements I would like to be part of a finishesd OS3. 1. A save button that saves the currnt patch onto the same position. It's hard to always step through the whole folders. 2. In all the pull down menus make the currently selected item bold.

I'd like to see the Multimode parameters made available in VC sequencer mode - things like keyboard range, being able to set up splits and layers and so on.

I second this. I used to love doing stuff like this with my Emu Sampler in the past.

From what I understand, when you use VC you automatically put your hardware into sequencer mode, which is simplified multimode. Seq mode doesn't have those parameters and this is logical. Also VC is obviously not intended to edit multi so far. The problem I see there is - although you can save sequencer mode settings from VC to the device multi mode (via muti edit buffer), I haven't found the way to push multi mode settings from the device into VC to edit them in sequencer mode. So I find this limitation more crucial if this is true. Any comments?
