Default MIDI Clock

Hello,
I'm currently using Cubase SX and a Virus KC along with UM-880 as my midi interface. My problem is that my Virus is receiving and sending midi data, but not receiving midi clock from Cubase my sequencer. My virus is on (AUTO) too. Please Advise?
thx

It may be an obvious question, but are you sure your sequencer is sending out midi clock?
