Virus TI Record Automation Help?

Hello!

I'm really in need of some help with my brand new Virus Ti2 Desktop. I've mailed the Access support but they haven't answered yet, so I hope there might be someone here who would be kind enough to help me.

So it's quite simple: I just want to midi-record when I move the knobs on my Virus. That's why I bought this version instead of the Virus Snow, to be able to record automation physically.

So how do I do this? Thing is I want to use the Total Integration plug-in (Virus Control) and not connect midi-cables and whatnot. But it seems that when that plug-in is active, my Ableton 9 doesn't see any midi-data being transmitted when I turn knobs on the Virus, so therefore, it naturally isn't recording any midi-automation when I try. (When the Virus Control plug-in is not active in any channel, Ableton sees midi being transmitted when I move knobs.)

I don't know what to do. Could anyone please help me? I'm just aching to make some music with this thing, but I need to be able to record automation.
