Drammy,
The new skin is classy and cool.
I say change it over and tweak it as needed.
Overall it is a HUGE improvement over the standard skin of yore.
Thank you SO much for all the work you've done on the site.
Regards,
-Alex

Cheers all for the feedback,
Khazul is currently working his majic on the header to incorporate his logo better and genereally make the whole header sit better.
Once this is done I will do a quick test on the test site and if happy with I'll port it across onto Infekted.org.
Fear not guys, it hasn't been neglected. Glad you all like the new skin anyway...
ps. Once the new skin is live I am going to send an email to all the members of the forum telling them about Infekted.org's new URL etc. This way we should get back a lot of the old members that are unaware the site has been reincarnated. I want to wait until the new skin is on though - no need confusing them by changing the look of the site a few days after letting them know we still exist...

Yikes! Can't read a thing. I'm half blind. Nothing to do with age.

Background still too dark.
...And the forum took about 45 secs to load on my dialup connection.
Were all the images optimised in imageready?
Definately an improvement though guys - well done.
cheers

forum style crashes IE6
This forum style is crashing the internet explorer when you are opening 3 or more windows. I am mostly read new posts by opening the last post each, so I just close the windows when I read the thread.
but at 3 or 4, IE is usually crashing with it.
Also, it takes AGES to render here. Please, remove that background. Make it a plain color.

Ronkaz,
I've already told you that I will sort out a compromise by making the other skin available, so stop the bitching until I get chance to do it... I have already got rid of the dark table background to improve the text visibility so that should ease things in the meantime.
You can't just come into a community like this and start demanding stuff, it just doesn't work that way!
I have said I will make the other skin available, but right now I have absolutely no time available and it won't happen until the middle of next week, so you'll just have to get on with it for the meantime!
As for the style crashing IE once 3 or 4 windows are open - come on, pull the other one!
Mr e,
Dunno, it should be working fine - a new skin has nothing to do with the cookies so it should not be the cause - I would recommend removing the cookies and then log in - should work from then on - don't forget to close the browser in between deleting and logging in.

Just to add to your woes Drammy...
Were you thinking about bringing the ENO quotes back at some point? Maybe like it was at 4barloop where you only see them once you're logged in?
@Ronkaz - There are alot of changes happening, and there has been alot going on here before you popped in. Please be patient... Drammy is donating his time to this forum for free, and we all appreciate his efforts immensly. We've already lost Access employees, lets not drive away other important members too.

I think it all looks fine and works well Drammy.
I view it with Opera (people still use Internet Explorer!?) with no trouble and I haven't noticed any differences with load times.
Looks like those Eno quotes are back too.
