This is of course not true!
You will probably find that when you are playing in the arrangement you want to do it via USB because a sequencer with automatic delay compensation will mean that the timing is sample accurate during playback.
When it comes to bounce the audio down you will want to take the audio out of the TI Analogue outs (better quality than via the USB) and record into the soundcard / mixer then soundcard / whatever (there is a button on the VC that quickly enables the output to pass through Analogue Out 1&2). You will then have to move the recorded part to start in the right place (to negate the natural latency induced my the soundcard).
I'm sure you'lll love it!

Thanks for your help. The only soundcard i have at the moment is an Audiphile USB, which im not sure will be good enough. It has a left/righ input, and also SPDIF (24/48000 maximium). Will this be enough or should i invest in a firewire device?
