Default about to buy a virus kc

hey all.
I have been producing for a while now, and I need new gear (we all do right? )
what hosts do you all use, or do you mostly record strictly audio side?
I myself use fl studio and my roland rs-5 with vst's.
any virus owners use studio here?

I am thinking about buying it tonight (well online purchase, so it would be probably tomorrow before it shipped) but I need some "help" with studio real quick........nothing big, I just forgot how to record real audio, and this would suck to buy a KC and not be able to record the sounds coming out, you know?
I am waiting on saba to reply back to another thread or someone else who uses fl studio ALOT, as far as audio side goes.

infact i still just get on VC and bash around for ages without recording a thing!!

I use FL for all my MIDI-ing. I dont really use samples, so FL is ideal. Its also a far less hassle to set up, and its nice and simple.

I'd like to try out Cubase and Logic, but give me more money and a mac

As for recording what comes out of the synth, I use the built in FL audio recorder. It however is very limited, and has to be used seperately, so there isnt any REAL MIDI/audio integration yet. But it suits for the moment.

Although once I start throwing samples around timing will get messy... hurm.

I use studio for all of my tracks.
I know the feeling on actually recording tracks too, when I got trilogy, I just sat there and jammed all night, and never hit record
I want to use obviously the kc for all midi side, since I use so many vsts, but I also want to record the gorgeous audio coming out of virus, so I need to remember how to do it in fl studio.........I know I use the little disk recording option, but when I do that on my rs-5, I get this double recording of my midi stuff and the roland recording twice, so it sounds very weird.....I guess I will be using toby's recorder so it sounds right
