Default [UNSOLVED] Faulity Keyboard Controller

Hi,

I have an indigo (b) which i believe to have a faulty kb controller as i cant trigger sounds from the kb only midi data.
Also when i swithc on it reads virus b and not virus indigo.

This suggests the kb controller is faulty.

What i want to know is - Does anybody have any test procedures for testing the board?

Im a qualified electronins technincian so i should be able to test it(if i knew the test procedure, or what to look for, etc).

I have checked all the cables that are plugged into the board, they all look in good condition and seated correctly.

Dont really want to send my synth away for a simple matter if i could sort it myself.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks, sekonz

I've been hearing about this problem a fair bit recently.

I'm not sure how you would go about fixing/testing it yourself though.

You may have to send it back.
