Default Logic - USB/Analogue outputs

I was following Access's instruction the other day regarding playback of parts without latency, in other words, selecting outputs 1+2 for playing and USB1+2 for latency compensation.
BUT, I was still getting a noticeable latency with the standard analogue outputs ?
Anybody else experiencing this phenomenon ?

It doesn't do the same thing in Cubase or Ableton.

I don't understand - are you using a TI kb and local on, yet getting latency?

Nope, should have said.
Its in VC mode as per the tutorial on the access site, as I'd never tried it with Logic I gave it a bash.

So, if I select the USB1+2 I should experience some latency but get sample accuracy etc,
if I select plain OUT1+2 no latency but no sample accuracy etc.

But when I select OUT1+2 so I can play in notes, I'm still getting latency.

So, is it a desktop or a Kb? Is remote on or off? I guess off if its connected via VC.

Its a TI desktop, remote midi keyboard, VC via the USB into the powerbook.
I've had a bit more of a play, and I think I've got a bit closer.

I think i'm going to have to turn delay compensation off totally, as when I set the synth to OUT1+2, the DAW output through the TI remains delay compensated as per the Logic audio settings.

I'm not really massively worried about sample accuracy while writing, just for the mix.
Its a shame, as Cubase doesn't throw a curve ball like that.

Or I could use the firewire interface as well and run the TI through its inputs for writing.
Its just that the Powerbook and the TI looked great on their tod on the desk, very minimalist.
