Question [Unsolved] Virus KC Multi Mode Issues

Hi Folks,

Recently picked up an old KC after much deliberation and it sounds terrific.

Attempted to set up in multi mode and sequence in Ableton which works in principle Its a pretty basic multi patch. Kick on part 1 and a fairly basic bass patch on part 2. 2 external instrument tracks in Ableton one on midi channel 1 the other on channel 2.

Press play, I get my kick and I get my bass, HOWEVER... every time the Kick hits it chokes out the bass as if its sidechaining it. I can't possibly have hit the polyphony limit with one Kick and one bass patch and I have accidentally layered the two on a single channel on the keyboard and triggered both at once so I know they can play one atop the other. Anyone had a similar problem or have any idea what I may be doing wrong?

Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated!

Cheers

On the Kc, one of the effect slot (reverb/delay) is shared between all the 16 parts.
This effect might be the culprit
Try to disconnect this slot, see if it helps.
