Default Ti Keyboards - Bad MOD wheels

On my second TI Keyboard now.

1st one:

Modulation would go to full randomly. If I roll the mod wheel up and down it turns back off. But then, it can go back up in an instant. This happens with all patches.

2nd one:

Before ever opening the plastic bag... the MOD wheel is rolling all the way around. I can see the underside of it when I roll it to one extreme or another.

Any one else have MOD wheel issues? Very strange that I have had two back to back in a week with MOD wheel issues.

A bad batch then?

Are you saying the modwheel is actually loose?

On the 1st one... no... simply misbehaves

On the 2nd one... not loose but spins all the way around.

Thats really strange. I suppose contacting technical support would clear this up. Any update on this?

The first dx7 i ever had did something similar....and it still worked....that is...the wheel was still operating as it should just that it was waaaayyyy too slack for my liking.

Been talking to the shop where I purchased... they don't have any more to replace it.
Access Music wants me to contact the importer here in the USA to see if there is anything he can to for me.
Access claims there have been no other reports of MOD wheel issues.
