TI desktop question before purchase

Hello!

I'm looking at buying an Access Virus TI desktop. I came across a listing I am interested in but he mentions an issue with his unit...this may not be a real issue though but maybe he does not know how to get everything out of his unit?

He says,

"However there is one problem that puzzled me on this unit. The amount of polyphony is lacking. Now I have heard many people complain about this problem on their Viruses. But my seems to have extreme problem with polyphony. Its advertised that the unit should put out 80 voices of polyphony on average. Yet I get about 14-16 voices in single mode, and it starts to cut off sounds by about 6-8 tracks of independent recording. May be I am not doing some thing right with this machine I don't know the machine"

Should I purchase this unit? Or do you think it actually has an internal problem and I should stay away from it.
