Default Virus used multitimbral with different midi fx.

hi!
afaik you have to setup the ti 2 with a multitimbral track in logic x to see all 16 midi tracks. btw i am new to logic > version 5 (used upon version 5 on pc).
but how can i use different midi fx for each of the 16 different midi tracks the virus uses? the problem is: when i insert a midi fx in one of the tracks (eg. the arpeggiator) it will be inserted in all 16 tracks automatically. that means the midi fx/arpeggiator works globally over all 16 midi tracks.

ok, i found the answer in the logic pro help forum: it is not possible!

but there is a workaround:

"I have been struggling with this for a while, I came to this solution:
- Add a software instrument track
- Select External Instrument from the instrument drop down
- Configure the external instrument to send midi to a bus (IAC Driver Bus) , on some channel
- Now, from the environment, route the midi from the IAC Driver Bus to the aux channel of your Kontakt instrument

This should work except that when bouncing, you have to bounce in realtime, offline bouncing won't work.

-Hossam"
