Default Virus TI Polar DEAD after Upgrade

Hi

I have been having problems with Multimode so I thought I would upgrade from 5.0.8.00 to 5.1.1.1 this morning. Part way through the installer says;

drive.google.com/file/d/0B7Gvy…0VWw2NTA/view?usp=sharing

Now it is totally dead and I can't power it up.

There is no light pulse even when power is connected.

Any ideas, seems like a power supply issue, but why would it fail during an upgrade?
