Virus TI2 as external FX processor (via SPDIF)

MBTC & TweakHead,

Unfortunately (? TBD), I decided to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 and now I am encountering some even more frustrating problems. My external USB drives are being recognized as internal disk drives (90% of time) and my Virus TI2 is not even being RECOGNIZED now!

USB port in Device Manager indicates: Device Not Recognized.

Same thing is occurring for my Novation Bass Station II.

Trying to download drivers again to see if it refreshes these ports but something about Windows 8/8.1 is causing some extremely ODD behavior.

I will respond as soon as I can get my desktop to recognize these devices (and my external Hard Drives as EXTERNAL-- totally screwed up my Waves Licences BTW--).
