Default Virus Snow questions for Access

Is there a possibility in a future OS upgrade to increase the patch slots from 64 to 128?

How does a Snow user load all the past banks of sound contributions into a snow when there are only 64 slots per bank compared to 128 for all other Viruses?

Is there a possibility in a future OS upgrade to increasing 4 part polyphonic to 6 or 8, say if turning off per part reverb/delay and using a global reverb/delay setting instead?

Is there a possibility of offering the snow in the traditional black color scheme? Some users may enjoy the white finish of the Snow, but some may prefer the standard black color like me who just never got on with the whole “white/light grey” thing.

Do the dedicated cutoff/resonance knobs control both filters at the same time or just one at a time by selecting each of the filters separately?

Finally, why such a drastic price increase in the Virus line of synths? Back in May you could pick up a new Virus TI desktop for as low as $1660 U.S. and unquestionably for under $1800. The TI is about 4 years old at this point, shouldn’t the pricing reflect this?

It’s hard to justify when the Blofeld is $500 less than the Snow for a comparable product and form factor. Taking into account side by side feature pluses and minuses, it’s arguably a wash at best.

I understand the U.S. dollar is weak (though it not that weak) and the Virus is a truly great instrument. Generally though, prices go down the longer a product is on the market, not up. I would unquestionably upgrade to a Virus TI at a better price point, but simply can’t justify doing so at the current pricing.

What gives, you guys start building these things out of platinum and diamond?
