Default Yay, got a new computer..!

Well.. it's not mine though.. It's Ausa's!

My father had bought an HP Pavilion Notebook;
AMD Turion64 (Mobile) ML40 (2.2 Ghz)
200 Gig HD
Radeon Xpress 200M
15.4" Widescreen
2 Gig RAM
DVD-burner with Lightscribe
Wireless internet/router
Memorycard-reader
Great speakers
Remote controll (Hoho, this little gadget is great!)
A brandnew printer packed with loads of stuff..
.. and even more that I haven't had a chance to try yet/even read what it is supposed to do.. I mean, we got some bloody much extra equipment for this computer it's insane!

He had this computer for about 2 months now and he has only used it twice (used it to look at some DVD's and listen to some music)! Ausa really needed a new computer and she always wanted a notebook so my father called today and said that; -"Let's exchange computers.. You need this more than me.. I only use my computer to pay bills and sometime listen to music!".

Ausa's computer right now is;
AMD Thunderbird 1.2 Ghz
256 RAM
Geforce 4 Ti (64)
40 Gig HD
CD-burner.
15" CRT

I betcha someone's really happy right now.

That was nice of your dad, nice one =]

It made me laugh watching an advert on telly for "PC World" earlier, it was advertising a dual-core Pentium-D or similar, and it said:-

"Two cores? Yes! You would use one for listening to music, and the other for downloading emails!"

Ahhhh, nearly fell off my chair and broke a rib. There are so many things wrong with that sentence I wouldn't know where to begin.

However, I'm sure you'll put your new one through its paces and make good use of the extra power.
