if you have a TI model, you'll want to use VirusControl - the software that comes with the machine. It loads like a VST in your sequencers, use the Library function to select the new patch (once you've copied it the the corrent folder in MyDocuments on a PC, not sure where you copy it on a Mac).

This is still useful, relevant and amazing in 2015 perfect copy haha. cheers mate (i bought a virus a month ago and was so happy to find a good van halen patch on here.)

Thanks guys. I got a TI2 Polar last year... and have been rediscovering just how good it sounds. I'm working on a recreation of Adam Szazbo style leads.

Interestingly enough, I also have a Korg Kronos that manages to do a good Jump lead. I still think the Virus does sound better.. in a different way of course.
