Question Transfering KC patches to TI

After years of faithful service, it's time to retire my KC to upgrade to the TI. Before I do this though, I have several patches I've created on the KC that I really need to hang onto for the current projects I'm working on. I'm trying to find out the following:

1) Is it even possible for the TI to be backwards compatible with patches from the previous series?

2) If so, what would be the easiest way to do so? (currently running Cubase 4 on my PC if that helps)

3) How close to original do you think the patches would sound on the TI?

Thank you in advance for any help on this.

1) should be no problem to load C patches into a TI (since it got more features, not less).
soft knobs are often not assigned when doing so.
the other way around would be definitely more problematic.

2) dump them as MIDI file - so you can later directly load them with Virus Control.
SoundDiver dumps are not supported by VC ...

3) they should sound quite the same, never had a chance to compare.
