Default Any Alphaville fans in here?

Not bad since its early-mid 80's

Its always nice to hear the original version. I first heard it by the Lichtenfels. There I was thinking it was an original song hehe

The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....

One hit wonders, fuck Alphaville.

"Forever Young" is a cute enough song, the DJ Sammy version sucks ass.

As a side note....when it comes to synth music....Germans are very good at it. I cannot really fault the last 10 years of German/European dance other than I would have preferred them to dig out their true analog synths. But then again....the late 90's and early 00's were the sound of VA. Im starting to get into the the vibe of music made around 1997-2000. Music sounds a bit better to my ears when its aged sufficiently to sound a little retro. I think the power of nostalgia really lifts music.

I suffer from this occasionally too.

I found an Oakenfold CD of mine from 2000 that I hated so much when I bought it, it has literally sat undisturbed in my CD case for 6 years. Last week I found it again and decided to give it a spin, been jamming out to it in my car since!

Oooooopsy!
